2025 offered us a glimpse of what we can achieve when every member of our organization contributes their efforts, and commitment to the people and community we serve. At ACC, our focus on growth is about improving the lives of our clients and community as a whole by breaking down barriers, expanding equitable access to quality care, and ensuring that our team is supported and thriving so our clients can thrive as well.

A major and early highlight of the year was the completion of our office expansion, generously funded by The Spaulding Foundation, which increased our office‐based therapy capacity by 200%. The additional space allowed us to serve more clients and continue growing our team through the hiring of a new full-time therapist, a Therapeutic Support Specialist (TSS), and a Therapeutic Animal Assistant. We maintained all existing insurance contracts and completed credentialing with Medicare, widening access for older adults and individuals with disabilities. This period of expansion also supported the introduction of retirement benefits for our employees, an important step in investing in the long‐term wellbeing of the team that makes our mission possible.

We strengthened longstanding partnerships and welcomed several new ones, including the Ohio Children’s Alliance, the Child and Family Health Collaborative of Ohio, CliniSync and the Mental & Behavioral Health Information Exchange, Hamilton County Public Health, Everybody Rides Metro, Urban Native Collective, the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, and FC Cincinnati. These partnerships matter because they extend our reach, deepen collaboration across sectors, and ensure that our clients benefit from a more coordinated, informed, and community‐rooted network of support. We achieved national accreditation with CARF, reinforcing our commitment and ability to provide treatment to underserved populations through high‐quality care. We have begun the process of expanding our governing board through the inclusion of expert advisors in various priority areas including strategic planning, marketing, fundraising, and finance.

We are extremely proud and excited to share our accomplishments from 2025! Looking ahead, we continue to move forward together, establish new partnerships, expand our reach, and continue providing equitable, relationship‐centered care supported by the human‐animal bond.
