We are looking to hire passionate, licensed and non-licensed mental health service providers interested in Animal-Assisted Intervention. We offer flexible contracts with options for transition to part or full-time employment.

School-Based Mental & Behavioral Health Therapist (Spanish Speaking)

Therapist will provide services primarily in a PreK-8th school within CPS. Services will be secondarily provided in the office or other community-based setting (client homes, other healthcare organizations, etc.).

Clients will range from Pre-K through 12th grade with the option of serving additional clients PreK through Older Adulthood.

Therapist must be open to receiving training in Animal-Assisted Intervention and to incorporate into client treatment.

Therapist must be highly collaborative and able to work with an interdisciplinary team of professionals.

Therapist must be proficient in Spanish.

Highly Preferred: Therapist owns and maintains ownership of an affiliative, well-trained dog that they are willing to incorporate into service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Master of Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy

  • Ohio licensure as an LSW/LISW or LPC/LPCC

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Provides individual, group and/or family treatment services and maintains all required documentation

  • Completes Diagnostic Assessments, Individual Treatment Plans, referrals, risk assessments

  • Maintains licensure, ongoing training and professional education

  • Engages in regular supervision

Therapeutic Support Specialist

(Hiring for Independent Contractor with expectation to transition to Full-Time role)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in related field

  • QMHS certification

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a related field or position 

Responsibilities

  • Provides community-based individual, group and/or family Therapeutic Behavioral Services and maintains all required documentation

  • Completes Individualized Treatment Plans, referrals, and risk assessments

  • Maintains licensure, ongoing training and professional education

  • Engages in regular supervision

Clinical Internship

(No current openings)

Master level internships available for Counseling and Social Work programs. Advanced internship only (2 semester minimum).

Mental & Behavioral Health Therapist

-Community-Based. Services may be provided in the office and/or community including the potential for a school-based placement.

-Clients may range from pre-school through 12th grade.

-Therapist must be open to receiving training in and utilizing Animal-Assisted Intervention.
